There are many great detectives whose adventures have influenced my writing. However, the Old Man in the Corner has always fascinated me particularly.
The Adventure of the Felonious Fiancé - another mystery solved by Sherlock Holmes and recounted by Doctor Watson in the Strand Magazine. However, the old man who habituates the corner table in the A.B.C. teashop is not convinced.
