Paul Hiscock is an author of crime, fantasy, horror, and science fiction tales. His short stories have appeared in a variety of anthologies, and include a seventeenth century whodunnit, a science fiction western, a clockpunk fairytale, and numerous Sherlock Holmes pastiches.
Paul lives with his family in Kent (England) and in real life has never been called upon to solve a murder or met a dragon. Instead he spends his days engaged in the far more challenging task of taking care of his two children.
He mainly does his writing in coffee shops with the Kent NaNoWriMo group or in the middle of the night when his children have finally gone to sleep. Consequently, his stories tend to be fuelled by large amounts of black coffee.
