An Evening With Sherlock Holmes

On 17 May 2025, MX Publishing will be holding a special celebration to mark the tenth anniversary of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories. Featuring over 200 talented contributors and 1,000 captivating stories, this is the largest Holmes collection in the world. The event is being held at Undershaw, the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, now a school for special needs children.

Sherlock Holmes fans from around the world are invited to join the celebration, as the event will be streamed online. Tickets are available now, and will allow you to enjoy contributions from special guests, including David Marcum (the editor behind the massive 52 volumes of new Sherlock Holmes stories), Stephen Fry, Gyles Brandreth, Andrew Lane and many others that have supported Undershaw. There will also be a tour of Undershaw, a live theatre performance, and a demonstration of deductive skills from Ben Cardall.

There is also a silent auction taking place in the lead-up to the event. The wide array of items on offer range from sporting and celebrity memorabilia, luxury holidays and amazing experiences, to signed books and Sherlockian collectibles. There is something to suit every taste and budget, so please take a look and consider placing a bid.

Everyone who has contributed to this incredible collection of traditional Sherlock Holmes stories over the past decade has donated all their royalties to support the work of the school at Undershaw, raising over $135,000 (so far). I am delighted to be among the authors who have written stories for this collection over the years who will be at Undershaw to celebrate this amazing achievement.
