Bradstreet Takes the Case
The Year of Mystery series from Belanger Books has reached the fateful year of 1891. With Sherlock Holmes missing, presumed dead, at the Reichenbach Falls, it is time for other detectives to try to fill his deerstalker. Is this Inspector Bradstreet’s time to shine?

Bradstreet’s first real test is the case of The Heart of Fire. When an audacious jewellery heist takes place at the British Museum, right under his nose, the pressure is on! Can he solve a mystery that would have challenged even Holmes, recover the jewel and bring the culprit to justice?
Almost a year later in 1892, we find Bradstreet’s star is on the rise, but will his high-profile investigation into the exploits of society thief The Plundering Peacock cement his reputation or lead to a fall from grace?

Like previous volumes, A Year of Mystery 1891 & 1892 features story for every month of the year. However, following the ‘death’ of Holmes, alongside my Inspector Bradstreet stories, my fellow authors share adventures featuring a wide range of other friends, colleagues and maybe even enemies of the Great Detective.
As always, the collections are edited by acclaimed Sherlockian author Richard T. Ryan, and feature cover illustrations by Jeffrey McKeever. Both new volumes are available to pre-order on Kickstarter in ebook, paperback, and hardback formats at www.kickstarter.com/projects/1606726313/sherlock-holmes-a-year-of-mystery-1891-and-1892 and will be published in 2027. The previous ten volumes, covering the years before the Great Hiatus, are available to order from all good booksellers.
