In the Beginning
In 1919, Dr. Lyndon Parker moved into 7B Praed Street with Solar Pons and a great crime fighting partnership was born. Now, following in the footsteps of their acclaimed chronological Sherlock Holmes series, Belanger Books is releasing Solar Pons A Year of Mystery 1919, edited by noted Sherlockian and Ponsian writer David Marcum.

The adventures start at the beginning of the year, before Pons and Parker meet. My first contribution The Screaming Mask is set during this time and shines the spotlight on Mrs. Johnson, Pons’s long suffering landlady. She joins him on a terrifying case, investigating reports of a possessed war veteran.
Then, in The First Noel, Pons is joined by both Dr. Parker and his police colleague, Inspector Jamison, on a train journey with a murderer. Will they make it home in time to celebrate their first Christmas at Praed Street?
If you are new to Solar Pons, this collection is a great way to get to know the Sherlock Holmes of Praed Street, while for existing fans it is a chance to go back to the beginning and experience more of his early adventures.
