The Great Sherlock Holmes Debate

Is there room for a second sleuth in Baker Street? Small clients have big problems too. We need Basil, the Great Mouse Detective!

On 25 May 2019, at Undershaw (the former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle), the Great Sherlock Holmes Debate will examine the various adaptations of Sherlock Holmes and ask the question, “Did they go too far?” I am pleased to be taking part in the debate, speaking on behalf of The Great Mouse Detective, the classic Disney animated film based on the books by Eve Titus.

The event is being broadcast live so that fans all around the world can take part. Tickets are available through Eventbrite with all proceeds going to Stepping Stones School and Happy Life Children’s Home.

In the run-up to the event, you can take part in the pre-debate voting on Facebook and show your support for your favourite adaptations.
