Holmes and Watson race to save an iconic statue and find themselves threatened in their own home as the Sherlock Holmes: A Year of Mystery series from Belanger Books reaches 1885 and 1886.

Once again, the collections in this series each include a story for every month of the year. The Light of Liberty is set in April 1885, just as the Statue of Liberty is about to start its journey from France to America. After a robbery at warehouse where the statue is being stored, the future of the project is thrown into doubt. If Holmes cannot solve this case, the Statue of Liberty may never reach New York.

Then, in August 1886, Holmes, Watson and Mrs. Hudson are held hostage by a murder suspect in The Siege of Baker Street. As Lestrade and the forces of the Metropolitan Police gather outside, Holmes is in a race against time to solve the case and save the lives of everyone in 221B Baker Street.
