Predicting Another Case For Sherlock Holmes

Writing my story in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Study

My latest Sherlock Holmes short story, The Cassandra of Providence Place, will appear in the eighteenth volume of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories. This book is the third of the latest volumes of the world’s largest collection of Sherlock Holmes stories. Once again they are all traditional pastiches set in the period and written in the style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original adventures, and this time they are based on the theme Whatever Remains… Must Be The Truth. I wrote the opening of this story in Conan Doyle’s study when I visited Undershaw earlier this year.

The new books are currently available to pre-order on Kickstarter in hardback, paperback or electronic format. They feature forewords from author Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Roger Johnson from the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. As with previous volumes, all the royalties from the collection are being donated to Stepping Stones, a school for children with learning difficulties projects based at Conan Doyle’s former house, Undershaw.

You can pre-order the latest volumes of the MX Book of New Sherlock Holmes Stories until 5 September 2019 at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mxpublishing/mx-book-of-new-sherlock-holmes-stories-vols-xvi-to-xviii. They are scheduled to be published in October.

You can also read a short interview with me about my story on the MX Publishing Blog.
