A Foggy Nightmare

The foggy streets of Victorian London are the traditional backdrop for the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. However, in my latest mystery, The Case of the London Particular, that fog takes on a more sinister aspect.
It is part of a new collection of stories from Belanger Books entitled Sherlock Holmes: Adventures in the Realms of H.P. Lovecraft, which pit the great detective against the eldritch horrors of Lovecraft’s mythos. This is my first venture into these nightmarish realms, and initially I was uncertain how they would fit with Holmes’s rational view of the world. However, among the tentacled terrors that Lovecraft is most famous for, I found other more insidious horrors to challenge the mettle of both Holmes and Watson.
The Case of the London Particular can be found in the first of the two volumes of Adventures in the Realms of H.P. Lovecraft, which are available to preorder through Kickstarter at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/belangerbooks/sherlock-holmes-adventures-in-the-realms-of-hp-lovecraft/ until Wednesday 5 July.
